Us queers must substantiate our own history – or it will disappear with each generation.
We need to document how queerness is manifested in our bodies and in our actions, gestures and language. To know that we exist, have existed, and always will exist, even when we are pushed to be made invisible again.
This project is focused on portraits of people who carry these stories and a depiction of the attributes and expressions they shared.
So far, the generational span is between the years 1956 to 2007.
All participating queers live in Sweden.(For) Generations of Queers is an ongoing project.
